Taq polymerase;

Taq polymerase is a DNA polymerase enzyme and is widely used especially in molecular biology techniques called PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). Taq polymerase is derived from the thermophilic DNA polymerase of Thermus aquaticus (Taq), a thermophilic bacterium. This enzyme is used in DNA replication to synthesize new DNA strands.
